It’s no secret we’ve made our name on making the branding process more magickal, incorporating divination practices like astrology and tarot into our creative process.
But here’s the thing you need to know about divination: We’re not awkward about it. We’re strategic about it. We use astrology like you might use the Myers-Briggs: As a personality test. It shares invaluable insights into who you are—and you don’t have to be woo to benefit from it.
Curious how we do it? Two words: Birth chart. We get your birth date and time (a must-have, so ask your moms if you don’t know it), and look for three themes in your chart:

Elements
There are four elements in astrology—earth, air, fire, water—which categorize the signs by their shared traits. For example, the air signs (Gemini, Libra and Aquarius) are intellectual, communicative and social. They love information and ideas. So, if most of your planets are in air signs, the traits of air signs will inform our creative direction, from colours and fonts to typography and photography.
Modes
Like there are four elements in astrology, there are three modes: Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn) are starters, Fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius) are stable, and Mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces) are adaptable. So, if your Fixed signs, for example, are more dominant in your birth chart, we may curate a more grounded, earthier palette to connote stability.
Stelliums
A cluster of three or more planets in a single zodiac sign (or house) in your birth chart, Stelliums tell us what planetary energy to play up in your branding. For example, a stellium in Pisces—an emotional water sign—may have a softer, flowier aesthetic, while a stellium in Leo—a charistmatic, fire sign—may have a bold aesthetic—think spicier colours, edgier typography, and candid messaging.
Of course, that’s not all—we love all things esoteric, so we pull a tarot card or two throughout the process to guide the creative.
Take, for example, a birth chart that’s overflowing with water signs: We may pull the Queen of Cups, a tarot archetype known for its watery traits (emotion, intuition, imagination) as inspiration for our creative direction.
At the end of the day, astrology and tarot are tools for us to get to know you better, so we can embody your brand of magick in your business ✨
